My car has 1986 headers and 2.25" flowmaster aftercat with 40 series mufflers, i have a 2.25" catted h right now with two cats. I was very succesful with this set up as I dynoed at 187rwhp and 257rwtq with just this set up a k&n oil and air filter and new plugs, after only putting down 141 and 210 with no modifications. So i just feel that 2.25" seems like the right thing for this car after seeing so many people put to big of an exhaust on their car and lose power down low. The main reason I want an O/R pipe is because the cats on my h right now bottom out to often and if I could pick up an O/R for under $150 and get the extra inch of ground clearance that would be great. Plus it would sound just that much better

Well, than go with the 2 1/4'. It will be better with your setup since the rest of your exhaust is already 2 1/4'.

That is my main concern since I already have $325 2.25" aftercat. Thank you guys for your help. Still does anyone know of a 2.25" o/r h pipe, I don't think I'm going to buy a kit some guy used on a Chevy[:'(]. No offense.
