Default IAC Sensor?

I start the car and after two minutes of running it is fine, but when I first start it it does not run right, the idle is off and it wants to stall out. This may be called idle hunting? If so is it a sensor or something else. The car does have a B303 cam and I have been told by a few people that the stock computer doesn't work well with the cam so someone at jegs told me it was the IAC sensor or TPS? Any ideas?

Default RE: IAC Sensor?

What year is the car? Is it speed density or MAss air flow? With a mass air car, the B303 cam shouldn't be a problem. Now if it's speed denisty, yeah it can and will present a problem. I'd check your TPS voltage and then clean the IAC air passage with some brake cleaner. This is located right before the throttle plate. The IAC motor, not sensor, could also be stuck or sticking, slow or whatnot, and you need to replace it.
