I stand mistaken , thank you for your input , and how would you tune your car for nitrous oxide ?

1. Make sure bottle temp is where it should be at ALL times - usually around 900-1000 lbs - be consistant whichever you chose.
2. Run a colder plug
3. Rule of thumb is to start with 3* retarted timing for every 50hp
4. Bump fuel pressure as well, or use the appropriate jets that come with a wet kit.
5. Add timing and remove fuel until you get best performance without detonation, always check your plugs.
6. A WOT switch and window switch is a good idea as well, you don't want to be juicin it at 1500 rpm - very hard on the bottom end.
Or... really the safest way is through a dyno tune with wide band 02 monitoring.

RE: I need more horsepower
to your first question the 0-60 is 6.8 in a manual with a REALLY good driver. That is for the convertible at least, you would cut some time if you have a coupe of course because of the weight difference but i second vfast, it's a BEAST and could do with some weight loss. and also i don't know if you've had a mustang before but the 5.0 engine is a tank and nitrous wont do any damage at all so don't worry about that( i know they've already addressed it lol ust seconding their opinion.) good luck with your mods, let us know what you decide to do and how it works out
