Default BBK headers!!!!

Hey guys i got a 91 five o and i just got my new headers today bkk chrome shorties....is this going to make a change in the loudness of my exhast then compered to my stock ones.....and are these this a bitch to put on....Oh a got 40s O/R h-pipe

Good you can tell me how it goes and sounds installing these because I have same set up Flowmasters 40's and O/R H-pipe.

shouldn't be hard at all, getting the old header bolts out may be a bitch, but the shorties have the most room to work around, be sure when you reinstall them that you loosely attach all the bolts first then tighten from the center out, and get felpro gaskets not the paper type, also retighten them every couple hundred miles or else get stage 8 locking header bolts, or else you'll be changing gaskets quite a bit. Good luck, should be a good improvement.

i've got bbk equal length shorties bbk o/r h pipe and flo 40's. i love the sound out back but a little loud inside the car. you just need a good stereo. lol

Chrome! That's gonna really increase underhood temp, keep an eye on that. BBK's might increase sound a bit but you have already done the things that make the biggest difference.

OUr car had that set up on it before we switched to L/Ts. It gave the car a good rumble (it had a B cam also). They should just slid right in.

The bbk chrome headers are better than the ceramic for keeping the coating. My ceramic ones kept the coats for about 2 weeks then it cracked and fell off. Now I've got rust coated headers. Its better to buy the chrome ones and just have them jet coated if you want to keep under hood temps down.
