Why not?

I didn't have to waste money on any relocation kits. and it works flawlessly. You gotta think out of the box. It has seen 7000RPM, too.

But the biggest reason is that the belt would have hit itself if it was ran the regular way with the PS pulley in the stock location like it is.

see, i have my belt ran like yall do on the white one, and on my red one i ran it to where the alt had that really sharp turned, and i got on it one day and that belt shredded. so i ran it the way it was on my white one, cuz i put ud pullies n when i bypassed my smog. so it had that really sharp turn witht he alt and thats the reason it shredded, to much tention i believe. so i ran it the other way so my powersteering has that sharp turn but since its a bigger pulley its not so bad.

the factory belt way they route is this:

and if u do it like that when u elim the smog pump that alt has that really sharp turn and its not good, itll bust the belt happened to me with a brand new belt. so if u have ur smog pump bypassed the pulley i advise to rerun like prime n them talk about becuase its the best way.


^^my dirty motor but u can see what imt alking about with the sharp turn off the alt pulley.

NAH! that pic reminds me of what that car has been through(and myself)...hitting a brickwall at 30mph in a spin,and then putting her all back together gives me a great sense of pride..

haah nice... in that case when you are all done with her and shes all wrapped in that nice paint one day, you should have that pic blown up and framed! that was everyone who comes over will see what you have done to it.
