Throttle Body for SN-95

Throttle Body for SN-95
I am trying to figure out what kind of set up I want on my 94, I have read a tech bit about switching over to a Fox Body set up on the Throttle body but what advantage does it have. I have decided to go with the Edelbrock Victor intake but now I am trying to figure out wich way to go with the T.B. Should I go with the Fox Body Style or keep the SN-95? Any help please?

RE: Throttle Body for SN-95
well, putting a TB on a stock 94 or 95 does no good because the EGR is internally mounted on the intake (thats what gives it the curve at the inlet), and that causes your restriction, not your TB. So you need to switch to an aftermarket intake if you want a TB to do any good. It sounds like you're getting an intake, but they dont make an intake in the same style as a 94 or 95, so you can get a regular intake for a fox mustang but you have to order an elbow adapter. there are a bunch available, edelbrock makes one that will match up nicely to any of their intakes, or BBK makes one, and there are others. its basically just an elbow piece that makes up for the curved stock intake.

thats the edelbrock one
I hope that made sense...basically, what i'm trying to say is that you need to switch to an aftermarket fox-style intake if you want a TB upgrade to do any good.

RE: Throttle Body for SN-95
so then why are so many people going to the Fox Body style Throttle body? I was already planning on changing the intake but I am trying to figure out if I should buy the elbow adapter or change style. Are there any advantages to changing?
