A buddy of mine had a 4 banger that he put a 5.0 in with a turbo is was a sweet car until he let some guy drive it and he totaled it racing another stang. He couldnt handle tre power i guess. My buddy had full coverage but got beat becuase he only registered it as a 4 banger

Sell it and get a 5.0. It will be more fun rebuilding that.

If you're serious about doing this than buy a parts car. Its what I did. I bought a POS looking drop top off ebay for under 800 bux. Put all new gaskets and replaced a few things to freshen it up a bit. The engine, tranny, rear-end, an other tid bits have been installed on my car for 2 years and I have not had one problem at all. It looks like the car came with the 5.0. Just do it right the first time...no hacks.

it may be cheaper to buy a 5.0 car but its more fun to make one. plus i think we can use all the 5.0 mustangs on the street kicking the crud out of as many rice burners as we can get.
