Default mustang engine problems after warmed up.. help
Ok '88 5.0 LX (Manual tranny) after driving for about 10-15 minutes the car makes a pooping noise sometimes when accelerating in each gear, also when accelerating in each gear or in neutral it hesitates then accelerates.. I changed fuel filter, fuel pump, EGR Valve, dizzy cap, rotor, and plug wires....also it wants to turn off on me when i take off on 1st gear.. anyone with some help

Could be your stator pickup coil in the distrubitor, similar thing happened to my friends 95 and it turned out to be that.

mixed up plug wires?

mine was popping..and jus running like ****..

and then i figured out my plug wires were on the wrong plug

the wires are in the right place.. Thinking it could be the pressure regulator ran the codes and i get 42 and 92
