i have a 92 vert and i have taken all the air bag stuff out but can't seem to find a kit for changing to a gt grant type steering wheel i would appreciate any and all advice in getting rid of the big black blob. thanks

Really? Have you checked summit or jegs they normally have everything that you need. Especially something as common as that, I saw one at an autozone in Saratoga Springs NY so I just figure that they would be easy to find.

yes they have kits for up to an 89 model with the round steering column but no kit is listed for the 90-93 dont know it the 89 kit would work or if the entire column is different

I am interested in this as well. I am going to have to give up my cruise control, but the leather on the wheel is starting to come apart. I would like to replace it, but I am afraid of air bag deployment when trying to remove it. I havent even starting looking for a kit yet.

according to gt grant the entire steering column is different and they do not make a kit for any airbag equipped car even it has been deployed or removed. bad news for me but maybe you stang bangers know something they dont any help would be appreciated later guys
