you'll want an adjuster to set the clutch where "YOU" want it to engage.
Don't set it where "You" want it. Set it properly and how they tell you. It will save you money in the long run as most problems that come from adj. Cable and quadrant are from people setting them how "They" want it not how the company says etc.

I believe someone else on this site also said what I just said.

Have to kindy disagree with you Digital.

Most manufacturers are out to protect themselves (and I don't blame them), so they have you set the clutch in a "safer" location. Doesn't mean it's the best for "you". I like my clutch to start releasing (moving the pressure plate away) somewhere near the top. This way I don't have to push the pedal clear to the floor to shift, like the factory quadrant makes you do.

The important thing is the pressure plate is able to apply full pressure when the pedal at the top. But that doesn't mean you have the push the clutch to the floor to release it.

well the corba clutch is nice as it has more holding power than stock and needs less pedal pressure unlike the others.....if you buy a hipo clutch then that quad has to go before it leaves you on the side of the road..
I do have a upr products 3 pc kit in a box that I don't need $70.00
adj cable,3 hook quad and firewall adjuster

Regadless. 95% of the people on this board who would set it to "their" liking would probably end up destroying the cluthc or having improper "engage/disengage" problems. I reccomend they set them to what the maker of the clutch calbe/quadrant suggest at least for a while until they learn it etc.
