i got a 91 LX 5.0 and my question is my car smells like gasoline and i was told it was my map sensor that was badd how would i know if it is there is no check engine light??
Only way to tell if a map sensor is bad is using a scope to check the wave length and shape and all that crap. Who told you it was bad? Also on a 91 your map sensor is a barometric sensor so it really wouldn't cause you to have a real problem like running rich.
