You have to really like the verts to own one and be happy with it. They can be a pain, but if you do things right, they dont leak and can provide many years of trouble free service. I love mine, and sometimes I think I would like to own a hardtop, but I am not selling my vert to get one. Nothing beats having the top down on a nice day and just cruising. You cant do that in hardtop, but like mrbigshot said, you can catch crap at the track once you break a certain number. Hey Unkown, shoot me a pic of your cage, I would like to see it.

I really like T-tops just because they're so rare. I think I've seen one in my entire life.

I got a t-top and love it... you may just have in issue with the weatherstripping, but that's an easy fix.

Hard top, safe and nothing to worry about leaking. Yeah, the t-tops and verts are nice but the running water isn't!!!

+1
I've had a 82 GT t-top, 89 gt hardtop, and my current vert. I woudn't own a ttop again because of earlier said reasons, pain in the butt to take off and put back on and finding a place to store them. I think the wind flow is alot better in a vert over a ttop also. T-tops make your car like a giant wind pocket, the vert is a little more smooth.
