Default building a new motor, question on hyd roller

i'm gonna start building a 347, will be a higher compression motor like 12:1-12.5:1. anyway i dont know if i wana try to find an older 302 block or just stick with a newer hyd roller block. anyway i am kinda leaning toward hyd roller, i have heard about hyd rollers having problems with bigger rpms and stuff liek that. if i were to build something with a cam up toward the .600' lift range and persay a motor that high 7,000-7,500 will the hydraulic roller still be fine or would i wanna go with something else? and what might be the cheaper route?
