For me it doesn't matter if it's AFR's or TW though, becuz I have to notch the pistons regardless. I'm just torn on the cam size and if I should go 165's or 185's.
how much boost are you running?

I think you need to read more thouroughly this is an actual quote from the article -The cam specs are roughly 210 degrees duration and .479" lift with the factory 1.7:1 Cobra roller rockers.

It says nothing about actual lift at the valve.
-P.
Not to keep this this going but even though they called .479" cam lift I can all but asure you that they were talking about valve lift. When most people talk about cam lift they are usually refering to the valve lift since thats what really matters. If the cam really had .479" of lift then the valve lift would be .814" which would not work at all. The valves would be pounding the tops of the cylinders. In reality the cam they used had a duration of .479/1.7= .2818". So in reality the Cobra cam is a little hotter then the cam out of a HO. .276" vs .282"

Its all good man , I jsut wish they would be more specific. To me, it rather unclear, I really wish they would specify if its lift at the lobe or at the valve. If you havent noticed Im a stickler for details.
