Does anybody make an intake manifold with a forward facing throttle body for rhe 5.0L

what would be the reasoning?

 

I've got a Fuelie motor in a 68 mustang and i am wanting to build a nice clean engine compartment with a nice custom engine cover. The stock intake just isn't set up for that.

 

the best thing you could do is get something like a spider intake and do something with the inlet tube down the front of the motor.

 

I have never seen anything like that on a 5.0 but if they made something like that.... I would have it! Im sure you could make something yourself if you wanted to. Maybe a sheetmetal manifold or something but Im not sure how you would get the throttle body to mount to that [&:]

^^ There was a guy with a SN-95 turbo setup with a foward facing pipe going to the turbo...

 

You can get a reichard racing manifold but its pricey, or me and a buddy are starting to make manifolds for custom apps.
