Default RE: Ford racing mass air flow and computer

I believe the Ford conversion kits come with a 55mm MAF, and an A9L computer (A9P for an Auto).

These are the same factory components used on MANY 87-93 Mustangs.

These are very good parts.
The computer will handle mods pretty well.

The MAF could be larger for a modified engine. If funds allow, look into a 70mm or larger MAF from C&L or Pro-M (Pmas?).
If funds are tight then look for a 70mm MAF from a 94-95 Mustang with an "F2VF" MAS (the little black sensor on the MAF tube). This MAF will require an adapter to accept your factory intake tube, but it is the only Ford MAF that will work with the A9* computers, with out a custom EEC tune.
