.30 overbore
Medium 303 racing cam
Powerdyne SC
355 gears
5gear stick
42 pds injectors
80 pro M airmeter
5.8 msd distributor
351 Edelbrock lower base ,5.0 intake

Im running a 93 mustang ecu and i also have another 98 cobra 5.0/5.8 ecu.

get a TwEECer and do it yourself.

it ends up being cheaper in the long run.

That is a sweet combo!

The 98 cobra ecu will not swap directly over to your current setup, so stick with the 93 computer. I assume you are using the A9L?

You have a few options for tuning...
A custiom dyno tune will provide great results, if you find a good tuner. Just ask some questions and check out their shop before deciding who to go with.

The personal tuners are another option. If you have patience and are willing to take the time to learn the stock computer then look into TwEECer, Moates, and EECTuner.
If you want to work with a easier program to learn, check out AEM and similar.

The advantage of the personal tuners is that when you modify the engine later, you won't have to go back to the dyno tuner and pay for a re-tune.
Most tuner packages include the hardware and software needed, but don't include a wide band O2 sensor. You will want to find a WB O2, as you cannot tune WOT without one.

I went with a tweecer. It took about 2 weeks of playing with the software and reading through some support websites to become effective with it. I still have a lot to learn however. I have not messed with the AFR (or anything else at WOT) since I don't have a WB yet. It is still worth having the tweecer, as my idle and part throttle drivability is much better now.

Also, look for an ability to datalog. The tweecer RT has this ability.

Hope that helps,
jason

Thank you very much guys. Im really new to tuning, so i think i rather pay for a custom tuning or if i can find somewhere to send my ecu an MAF.

You won't have to send the computer and MAF anywhere.

There are some companies who will burn you a tune and mail a chip to you. This is not ideal however, as the chip is setup based on a model that the company has, which may or may not be the same as your setup.

Going to a dyno tuner will be the best option, other than doing it yourself.
When the car is on the dyno the AFR and spark can be optimized for given load/rpm conditions.
You will be happy with a dyno tune.

Just research the shop before you drop off the car.
