Default cylinder head question

ok i found a place where i can get a set of cast iron heads, both for $600, fully assembled. 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust; but my question is, will i have to notch the pistons?

That depends on cam lift. It is recommended that any cam with a lift over .500 have PTV (piston to valve) clearance checked.

no it wil not work...the only heads with 2.02 that will work are the twisted wedge heads... otherwise you will have to notch the pistons... every company that i asked always said that..

No it's not. E cam is .498 lift, B is less. B has more duration, though.

You can't just say it will or won't work....are you using stock pistons? You may be okay, but I would absolutely clay it up to verify PTV clearance.
