I was just wondering if there are any other spring kits out there that will support the TFS 1 cam, that are a little cheaper? I've got plans for this winter

I got FMS springs from a local speed shop, they were onlt $75 for the set, then $30 for retainers and $8 for keepers. I havent run them yet(got them on my GT40 heads that I havent put on yet) but they will take up to 550 lift

Will these work??? And can I just replace the springs or do I absolutely need the keepers and the retainers?

you have to get retainers, the factory ones are too small in dia. you dont have to get keepers, but for the cheap price, its low cost insurance
