Default what MAF to use

i bought a cobra intake,70mm TB and 24lb ingectors. someoen said i needed to change the MAF sensor. is that so,if so what would i need to buy? this whole computer thing screws my head up. i should have just went with a carb and ripped out puter but this is where i am at. can you help?

Get a MAF that is calibrated to the 24 lbs injectors....

70mm TB.......Sorry I wasn't paying attention...a 76 mm Maf will be fine

uhh i got a 76mm which would be the biggest you should go
you can get C&L..what i have and jus got the right calibrated tube

With a 70mm TB, you should consider 73mm as the minimum on the MAF size.

Look for an aftermarket unit that is cal'd for 24lb injectors, when used with your computer.
None of the Ford MAF meters will work for your application.

If you are interested in learning about how your EEC-IV system works...
Look for a book called...
Ford Fuel Injection & Electronic Engine control Written by Probst.
There are 2 versions; Pre-1988, and 1988-93.

This is considered the bible for workin on these cars.
It will explain the control modes in an easy to understand manner.

yea i was thinking what size. do you guys think the intake,Tb,24 lb injectors,and new MAF will make much difference. whas thinking of going ahead and buying some 1.7 rollers if that would make a diff. i have had this car for 12 years and i am just looking to add something to make if a little fast, you know how it is 12 years no mods gets boring
