Ok, so my 89 GT just decided not to start and im stuck. The motors getting fuel (as the plugs are soaked) and the plugs are sparking, but its not firing at all. Any ideas??? If the TFI module wasnt working would you still get a spark?

What color is the spark? It could be weak. Also, it could be any number of things, maybe your disty is loose and it jumped time. Maybe you have bad gas. Maybe the disty mounted ign. module went bad. Maybe the coil loses is its spark when theres a heavier load. Maybe its getting too much fuel. Maybe it needs a tuneup.etc.etc.

Thanks P Zero - yeah I appreciate it could be a lot of things, but its strange that it was running fine before and now wont even fire, its not even trying to start. The spark was white and did look quite weak, I tried a new coil which didnt make any difference. It also looks like its getting too much fuel and flooding itself, cant think why though.
