Default Water Pump Help!

Water pump is leaking. After sitting at night, theres a puddle about the size of CD, so its not real bad. Has anyone ever used leaker stopper that you add to coolant? I can change the gasket, but its cold around here and i would like to avoid that unless i have to.

Absolutely. I had the same problem and it just got progressively worse. I know you say you don't want to change the gasket cause it's cold but a pump is cheap and you'd be better off just replacing the whole thing, if it's old anyway. A couple hours work and you're back on the road happy! I did mine yesterday morning and it was a breeze. Good luck

Put on a low temp tstat while you have it apart. It'll help car run a little better.
