I think I am going to keep my MAF.......$251 gets me a blow through maf for 42 lbs injectors, $375 get me 42lbers, and $899 gets me an Anderson PMS. Then I can do anything I want........

IMO, the megasquirt looks pretty good. If you are a non MAF car. Correct?

Why are you worried about the price of your fuel management system? You are already spending an arm and a leg for the turbo kit. Why not give it insurance with a fuel system that will be sure to work? That would be like building a high performance engine wanting jet fuel but you don’t want to spend the extra money for the fuel and settle for 85 octane. I just wouldn’t go cheap if you already have invested time and money into the turbo system. I would just stay away from speed density. Stick with MAF with a quality fuel manganment system.

Im a college students and money is always tight, i jsut bought wheels tires trans and a built bottom end 302with JE forged pistons, and bored 20 over. im jsut tryign to see what is the best route to go with the best prices, i know the AEM EMS is the absolute best stand alone system for a MAPed car, and i also know that converting to MAF has it benifits, but since convert takes a lot of time/money why dont i just go with a the map and just use some sort of stand alone sytem. Apexi and other controlers use the map voltages anyway and it seems like many of the turboed nissan 240 guys are converting their cars to map becuase of it benifits, i just need to knwo where and what i need for this management sytems, and also at a good price.

I understand that tuning the stock computer is a joke...but if he upgrades to MAF and goes with an Anderson PMS, or a speed brain (they went out of business like 10 years ago) then he can do anything he wants up to 30 psi of boost.
