The problem with the headlights and fog lights on the fox bodies is that Ford did not design the part correctly. The electrical system will over heat the wires and caust them to short out. here is a few explinations of this whole thing...

there are kits you can buy from 50resto.com or cjponyparts.com. they both have kits or you could do the tech article change yourself.
