How do I get wires through the firewall?

How do I get wires through the firewall?
I'm installing gauges today (hopefully), and was just wondering where the best is to thread the wires through the firewall. I found a large rubber grommet on the far left of the driver's side firewall, with a large wiring harness running through it. It's just that the grommet seems far too tight around the wires to get any more wires through. Any ideas?

In my car theres a large hole with a rubber grommet in it on the drivers side right above the pedals, donno bout a fox, might be the same.
EDIT: with no wires going through it.

there is a similiar hole in the fox where your tach cable runs, I just ran an electric fan switch through it
