Im not far from the truth first off, Im not sure about the part numbers being the same, if they are then disconnedting the hose would work.

Mustangs with mass airflow meters dont have a manifold absolute pressure sensors they have a barometric absolute pressure sensors, so if you do the swap from speed density to mass airflow meter then you need to switch the manifold absolute pressure sensor to barometric pressure sensor.
You just unplug the vacume off the MAP and leave the sensor plugged in(edit: guess I should have read a little more of the other posts)

Look at this, I think this is about the best site I have found on the conversion.
