what should i run

what should i do run a 351 cleveland as my new motor or get my friends 89 5.0 and put afr heads on it

The cleveland will not be a bolt in like the winsor 351...if you want to do a lot of work, do the 351C, but I think you would do better with a 351W or just build up you 302 and be done with it.

Clevelands blow, put the heads on the 5.0.

well i wanna do what is cheaper but i keep comin to the same price, the 302 i want will have afr 165 heads and the cleve will be ported and polished and a cam

well then how much should a 80000 mile 89 5.0 block go for i dont wanna overpay but my friend wants 350 is that a good price

That doesn't sound too bad...long block? If it is just a short block maybe $250

Unless you're getting a complete 351C long block w/ accessories and all, I wouldn't mess w/ it. Windsor motors have interchangeable parts and are cheaper to mod/easier to find parts for.....
