torque converter
My car is an AOD. I have been debating weather to build it up or swap in a t-5. Any preferences. I dont plan on taking my car to the extreme, I am just looking to build it up so that I will still be able to take it easy, but also smash the gas and have fun at the puch of the accelerator pedal. I read a few posts about stall ratings and was wondering what someone with more knowledge might suggest. I have a 1990 gt with CAI, Headers, O/R H-pipe, and Exhaust. Ive seen some people say that their using a 2000 rpm and some use a 3000 rpm stall rating torque converter. IF anyone has any info on which would be the best for the street and maybe a few drag passes with some friends. Also, you think a shift kit is worth it, remember I'm not planning on taking my car to far. Any info would be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

RE: torque converter
Most people say run no less than a 3000 stall. I ran a 2800 in my 88 and to be totally honest, i didnt feel that much of a difference. I will go with a 3000 for my 93 though. Also, instead of a shift kit you can go with a nice VB from lentech, PA, etc.
