94 mustang engine problem need help !!!
i bought a 302 bored over.040 to a 308 9.8:1 it has :
all forged interenals piston, i beams, rods.
- heads specs -
trick flow twisted wedged heads #51400002
61 cc combustion chamber
2.02 intake valve
1.60 exhaust valve
high rate valve spring 7,degrees lock manganese broze guides.
trick flow 1.6 roller rockers
--cam specs --
brand new trick flow track heat cam # 51402000
lift : 499 in intake / .510 in exhaust
duration : 275 intake / 2.79 exhaust
lobe separation : 112 degress
--add on to the engine--
cobra upper and lower intake manifold
bbk long tube headers
70mm throttle body edelbrock
75mm mass air pro-m
30lb injectors calibratred
255 fuel pump
bbk fuel pressure regualtor
i cant get it running right it has bad idle the air /fuel mixture is off and it dies out when coming to a stop .
i did all the checks on leaks on vac hoses, intake, fuel press at 41 lbs
what am i doing wrong anyone have a similar setup and had any of these problem get back to me asap i need help big time .

timing as well as the fuel pressure regulator... do you have a liquid guage on it? what psi are you sending (38psi)?
Have you tuned it up with new plugs, wires, cap/rotor, timing adjustment, set TPS base idle, clean TB, IAC, etc. ?

Check what the EEC-IV is trying to do or logging as failures, run a DIY KOEO/KOER self-test combo.

you cant install that monster without setting your idle high first.
set it to like 1000 rpm,
2.Your EEC needs to adjust to your new setup.
3.Now turn the car off, and unplug spout from dizzy and set timing to like 16*, you want to start a little high then work to where you car does not die.
Its gonna be a tradeoff.[&:]
oh yeah should have your tps set to 1.00 or .99 at idle is cool
