gears in your rear end. a lower gear (higher numerically) will make your car feel like it has a lot more power because it spins the wheels more for every rotation of your driveshaft. for example, if you put in 3.73s then your wheels will spin 3.73 times for every rotation of your driveshaft. stock gears are usually higher (my '95 was 2.73 stock i think) to get better gas mileage and for less wear and tear.

What they said. You go and swap the gears in the rear end like everone has said, and replace them with better one But it's kind of time consuming to do... Lot of stuff you have to do...
