Hey guys I need help finding a cam that will work good with gasket matched E7's and all of my other mods, need to keep the redline around 5000-5300 rpms. Can anyone with experience suggest a cam that will fit my needs. Also what valve springs? I'm sure that I'll need new springs with the new cam. I've already got most of the small stuff taken care of, thanks guys.

 

have you already done work to the E7's? if not.. id say scrap them and get some better heads. you will get a minimal improvement with thost stock heads and a cam. I can set you up with a set of D0OE heads (351w heads) for $300. They have 1.94" intake valves, all new components, new springs, seals, studs etc

What would I have to do to make those heads work on my 302?? I have to take off my upper and lower intake anyways so I figured ah hell, why not spend a few hundred more and throw a cam in too. What would those heads bump my CR up to?

 

TF says that the Stage 1 revs out at 5500 rpms.
