there is a throttle body on ebay its made by accufab its 105mm at the opening and 65mm at the butterfly. anybody know if this would work on any motor or does it have to be hi perfromance with supercharger, turbo charger. etc.

Why the hell would you want to run a 105mm throttle body !? Unless you have a supercharger 427 I would say no...

i suppose if you have forced induction and an inlet pipe that is 105mm it would work but your still bottlenecked at 65mm... so i wouldn't bother, does the listing state what applications it is for?

Yea, but it opens up into a 105mm TB, its just a 65mm inlet

thats actually a good design... ofcoarse you would need a 105mm MAF and 105mm intake track, but it basicly a velocity stock. In theory, the air going into the 105mm part of it is then forced into the 65mm opening creating a funneling effect which speeds up air. What good it would do a 5.0 mustang I dont know, but we use a simular TB style on our 2stroke engines
