^^^^ Not too much higher than 180. When I put my 180 stat in, I now hang at 180 95% of the time unless I am hard on it. Than I might see 185-190 tops.

Thanks man. I think I have a 192* (or whatever stock is) thermostat, and my gauge runs right around there when it gets good and hot.

what if i bought a performance all alluminum 4 core radiator from my buddy's mustang, and put a trans cooler on my car, would that work? his is manual and mine is automatic.

He has a 95, the fox rads wont work, His oe rad is Plastic Tank Alluminum core, Depending on where you are at, I can get you a decent deal. I work for a radiator wholesaler and we have 35 locations in the US, mostly around the northeast but down to VA and over to Illinois and OK, I can probably come into your budget with shipping, the perks of being a wholesaler. Just bought a 3 row brass radiator from advance auto for 158 with lifetime warranty. Keeps everything nice and cool!
