Default Gas Guage

What are some factors that could casue my gas guage to not work? (It's an 87 GT)

I am just glad that the low gas tank light comes on. Also it seems to work when I turn the key to the on position, but only when the gas is low.

Thanks guys!

I'll see what I can do, money is short, really just bought it to sit there for a bit till I get some extra money.

Figure I can get everything I want/need knocked out on paper atleast - :P

But it sure is fun to drive - :P
