what is the difference gt40-gt40p. 97 explorer motor how much will that help my 95 gt? what needs to be done for those heads to work on my motor not looking for killer hp yet anyway my wife thinks its is just going to be a swap. and thats all she needs to know for now

gt40 irons are from cobra's
gt40p are from explorer/mountaineer.
the cobra stuff is better no matter what anyone says, thats why it's cheaper too.
gt40p require some modification for the headers to work, the spark plug angle is different, and the explorer intake you'll need to tap and drill for the temp sending i believe.

the cobra stuff will get to you move, don't do it all stock, port the lower intake, port the exhaust ports on the heads.
you'll see a nice gain for low $$$$$
