Default bbk intake manifold

anyone use or have any info on the bbk ssi intake manifold....looking to purchase an intake just compiling info on all that i can.

i also was intrested in this intake, and posted about it on a few other forums, but guys that have used it said its garbage and not to waste the money, and of all the replys i dont think i really saw a positive one. hopfully someone thats used it can chime in, but thats my .02

I've never heard anything good about it. I thought about getting it but changed my mind after talking with the guys at Panhandle Performance.

had one, they're ok but wouldnt recommend to someone else.

you will lose some low end torque
it hits stock hood a little
kind of a pain to install.

just get a Trickflow

all i have heard were bad thinngs, but i put one on my brothers 88, and have had no problems since.

They're not a bad intake, but they would work better on a 347 or supercharged engine.
the PCV vent hole in the lower needs to be baffled better for sure.

For the money I think there are better things to buy for $600+.............
