codes, codes, codes, theres a code for neutral safety switch/ clutch engaged that'll trip if the clutch isn't fully depressed when starting car...i think it 67....not positive though

i have a push button start ignition switch... but my car will not start, if i push it it starts. could it be my battery. the door chime is really low too, is that supposed to be loud? what could be my other problems

put it in neutral and push pedal to floor. That rules out the cable. If it clickes loud in the starter, its locked up. If it continuously clicks, then it could be dead battery or cylanoid or loose terminal connections. if it doesnt even crank or click and the lights go dim when you try to start it, its the battery. have you tried to bump start it?

i tried jumping the battery, still nothing. where is the solenoid located

right beside the battery. The power wire from the batt. goes to it.

Your battery is dead, you need atleast 12 to turn the engine over. Try recharging it. If that doesnt help get a new one.

Check the caps if your battery has them. Make sure the cells are full.

my car wont start either because my wife left the glove compartment open for like a week, who thinks i should get out the battery charger??
