Budget super charger
If you know what you are doing you can use a supercharger from an old Ford T-bird. If you can weld, you can do it for under $500.
And as for getting 600hp out of a FI car. I figure you could get it easily if you do this list, full exhaust, after market ECU, adjustable FMU, and turbo or supercharge it.

how true that is.. but.. if your doing it with a stock 5.0L ford block.. then you will just be driving around with a big granade under your hood.

There are many places that sell COmplete Procharger kits for around $2,500. It does not come with an intercooler, but those aren't always necessary if you are running no more than 10 PSI. If you can't make your own intercooler, you could always spend $300 or so more on a water / methanol injection kit for chemical intercooling.

If you have to ask what it takes to get to 600hp, you don't have what it takes to get there

^that wont be enough...
and as for the S/C question, i also sugest going w. a centrufugial(sp) style one. and suggest looking at the websites such as paxtons, vortech, etc and doing a lil reasearch on them, so you can see what kinda numbers they all put out and compare the kits. do yourself a favor, dont buy on price. o and also, if that 275rwhp is dissapointing, throw a pully swap on it... just make sure u go w. a "system", they usually come w. everything u need, including fuel delivery, etc.
