Extremely Quiet Shifting/Engine

Don't know if anyone had tried this but today i picked up a dynamat $20.00 speaker kit at circuit city, took off my shifter boot ect and put dynamat all around the shifter. Now it's SUPER QUIET when driving and shifting. All you hear is the exhaust out of the back. Very Quiet interior and makes driving really nice!

hmm, i havent noticed noise before. im driving my car to work tomorrow...ill have to check that out.

its a mustang its supposed to be loud. and it adds weight and everybody knows mustangs dont like weight.

my trans is loud as ****... w. a short throw shifter, and that rubber boot riped a little(by accident). i hear alot thru it... however... i dont really mind it at all... its a stang.... not a hybrid(ever ride in them on the hywy? only thing u hear is tire... its wierd)
