89 5.0 kid

hi im a 16 year old junior with an 89 5.0 stang lx convertible, and i wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on how i could make it look and run better, i have two 15in subs in the back, but i was looking at a body kit and maybe a new paint job, but of course im a high school student and funds are limited so if anyone has any ideas please tell me.
