Default What ring thickness fit stock forged pistons?

I am planning to do a mild rebuild with an 87 5.0 block. After inspecting cylinders they had almost no wear. I decided to hone cylinders to get a nice cross hatch finish. Now cylinders are slightly oversized. I want to use 4.005 file fit rings. My question is what ring thickness do the stock forged pistons use (metric or standard)?

Thanks for the quick response. I e-mailed Summit last week on the same question and they still haven't gotten back to me.

You honed the cylinders enough that they are now oversized? What type of hone did you use?

As an unrelated question: I keep hearing that the bores in these cars never wear down. That's incredible. How many miles were on your motor when you tore into it?
