Default seatbelts

Why do ford interior's suck so much? My ****ing seatbelt wont retract and it wont feed back in.

I had this happen too, you have to put your hand behind the panel the seatbelt goes into, on the side of the seatbelt box thing there will be some teeth for locking the seatbelt, you just have to push it so it winds back up.

I hope that helps, it is hard to describe it.

That is why I got rid of them. I run 5 points harnesses now. I am scared about inspection though.

SN95 seat belt retractors are a lot different then fox bodies. The fox ones are pretty crappy.

its funny the one in my '90 works perfectly fine but the one in my dads '02 hasnt worked since 2003

Would 5pnt harness really be a problem with inspection ? If anything, its safer than a factory seatbealt.

yea but its not factory installed... they may think it was a shytty install job and fail it... so glad md only inspects once... and im finally done w. it
