OK chenging the pump tommorrow ok quick q

wheres the pressure relief switch in the hatch or one more q

can i just loosen the straps an dropp the tank or is there a harness that needs to be unplugged so would i have to lower it a little an unplug the harness?

You want to relieve fuel pressure before disconnecting fuel lines? Just pull fuel pump fuse while engine is running. You can also relieve at schrader valve on fuel line near intake manifold. To pull tank unbolt fuel filler behind fuel door, unstrap, drop tank and disconnect fuel lines and wires.

you dont have to do anything with the fuel door, I did mine again 3 months ago.

its easiest if you almost run the car out of gas. gas weighs 7 pounds a gallon
undo the fuel lines, and straps, support the tank with a helper or jack.
when you lower the tank there is 2 wires you need to undo one for the pump and one for the sender.
pump plug on right, sender plug in the middle of tank.

after you get the plugs off you will have to move the tank off the filler neck while lowering it, its kinda tricky and takes a couple minutes.
