Default Updates on the cam install

I've got everything out (cam, heads, timing chain, gears, etc.) I'm probably going to just throw the new cam, thrust plate and maybe the new timing chain and gears on and call it a night, I'm pooped! Just thought that I'd keep you guys updated. My projected finishing date looks like it's going to be around wednesday or thursday.

Default RE: Updates on the cam install

I'm too tired right now to get pictures. Here's what I did today...

Installed the TrickFlow valve spring upgrade kit on both of the heads
removed crank pulley
removed balancer (suprisingly it's in great condition, it's not coming apart or anything)
removed front cover/water pump (comes off in one peice, one less gasket to replace)
Removed both timing gears and removed the old chain
removed the stock cam
installed the new cam
installed both timing gears and chain

I've got really bad knee problems and they were starting to hurt to the point that I couldn't stand anymore and my back was starting to hurt so I decided to stop for tonight. It sucks working on cars at work or going to school (depends on the day) and then coming home and working on your own car, really takes the fun out of things. But I'm sure it'll bring a smile to my face when I am done.
