Help finding power source. When ignition is turned on
Guys, i'm tired of hacking up every wire in my car and i'm getting a little frustrated. I wanted to use a single connector and just put it in the fuse box but I can't seem to find anywhere to do that at. My old camaro had a IGN location where you could do that at to get a source of power when the Ignition is turned on. Then I started looking at the stereo system since that was near. My chilton's said that light blue with red stripe was the power wire but my multimeter isn't seeing anything. I checked the slightly larger yellow wire and my multimeter isn't seeing any power from that. Maybee my multimeter blew a fuse? Please any help guys quick, it looks like it's about to rain here in a sec, wanted to get my shift light on.
Thanks, Ted

RE: Help finding power source. When ignition is turned on
Well apparantley my multimeter was out. I grounded it and checked if it came on with the yellow wire on the stereo, it does. But I thought that was always constant power. It seems fine though, I don't see any other power wires. If anyone knows otherwise let me know, if not I guess I'll find out tomorrow morning if I can't start my car due to a dead battery, lol.
