white lithium grease in an aerosol (spray paint) can will work. Autozone, ACE hardware and the like carry it. I have to change them, got mines from 50resto too. Any tips on doing them?

i put some in my car a long time ago, they will loosen up with use, just crank them up tight and make sure they are pressed tight into the door upper frame, i would not lube the glass runs
hope you lubed all the internal parts while you were in there ?
i sell those for many different cars & trucks, not sure if you just tried to install them and roll up the glass ? the best way is to use your glass to push them up and into position , when there new
and flat as a pancake there are a pain in the ***

when i got around to my driver side this weekend i found a way to make it work a little better. the metal channels actually come off very easy and can be adjsuted. when i put the one on the passenger side i didnt move that channel and the window goes up slow now (it's starting to speed up a bit). if you take the channel closest to front of car off the strip goes in much easier.

yeah, don't remember the channels coming out, don't think i took anything loose to install mine but i did that about 2 years or more ago and i have sleep too many times since, that and old age too !
when you install the door seals sometime you have to re adjust your doors too
in a few days i'm pull the doors on the 93 i'm rebuilding for my daughter and installing new hinge
pins and will install seals and readjust the doors to fit the body, good time while the fenders are off !
and its suppose to be on the road by christmas........................
