+1.. and some brooms and dust pans to sweep up all the parts on the track. car is bad none the less, but i wonder how long it will last.

you guy's will never learn will ya...625rwhp 15:1 compression turning rpms to the moon<8500 or so>..all motor...9's traps 138mph..guess what? factory block.

1 ran a 11.98 and about 12 or so passes of 12.** drive 130 miles to and another 130 from...drive it to work 98miles a day <70-100mph every day...5yrs running soon to be 6yrs..guess what it's a dss block..<i needed one in a pinch,and yes i put it together

your talking about that burnt orange one that was posted the other day right? doesnt it have a mexican block wich is stronger anyways?

still a production block though...i do like some of dss parts,but there are to many"stock motor blows to pieces" out there..most of those motors were done by idiots..greed,and a poor tune and wrong parts<wrong parts by as poor geometry of the valve train.

granite mine might be a time bomb waiting to blow,but i got money out of it

+1, tune and build-up go a LONG way in block longevity at high horse power levels.
but pushing close to 1000hp out of 2 bolt main block, its only a matter of time.

I grew up with those guys so I know they will push it as hard as they can with no fear
Should be cool to see how long it will hold up.

Not sure what track they are going to, should be a beautiful weekend for it up in Dallas
with temps right at 70

Sure they have a ton of "dailing in" to do too.
