run a paperclip between the two wires on the sensor in the doorjamb and see if it goes away. i'll bet it thinks the door is open.

ok i just reread the original post. you have it narrowed down to the seatbeat fuse? which also powers the tach. hmm. well, i'd say paperclip the wiring for the seatbelt.

yeah its easier said than done, thats true. When I did mine I felt around up there til I felt a vibration as it chimed, then managed to unplug it. It was a bitch though, and I couldnt even see what I was doing... def. need patience for that one.

Yeah... I wear a seat belt all the time, but not for my safety; but because the lawyers would want me too.
