waterpump hose problems...

Default waterpump hose problems...

well i replaced my theromast and all and i cut the hoses cuz they were bad anyways, well i spent about 4 hours in all tring to get the little hose on, i have tired all sorts of sizes and all but nothing seems to work, its a gap of about 3 1/2 inches..and tring to get heater hose to bend just isn't working..its the small hose that goes from the water pump to the theromast hosing..if you get Any info or tips please let me know!!

i think you have to get a formed one. napa has them. i had same issue with the core hoses. it was just too small of a gap to make the bend without kinking the hose. so i ended up just buying the formed ones.

you've cut the original hose shorter, and are now trying to stretch that hose to connect to the thermostat housing?? is that what i just read??

if so, go to the parts store and get a new hose!! even if you can stretch it to make it work -- that hose will be constantly stressed and stretching, and it'll give way and break while you're driving sometime -- not cool!

no no no i bought all new hoses!!! lol i would never reuse something i cut unless i was on the side of the road, i think ill call napa tomarrow and see what they got on re-bent hoses

That particular hose is not only a molded one but 1 end is larger than the other.
