It turns the nitrous on and off in a certain rpm window. So you can have it come on at 3000rpm and go off at 6000rpm just before you hit the factory rev limiter. It's great for 5 speed cars if you plan on missing gears and revving it to the moon on the bottle. The price varies by brand. They will probably run you $100-175.

this has been asked a few times, so i will answer. ANY nitrous info i've read says that u can run 10* timing up to the 150shot. anything above that will require timing to be taken out. MAKE sure you get a window switch cause we all make mistakes and mis shift!

so i am planning on buying the NOS Stage 1 EFI system 1986-1995 5.0...i will also buy a adjustable fuel pressure regulator, 255 fuel pump and a window switch....does anyone know how much $ installation would cost??????

 

It takes about 2-3 hours to install the nitrous kit. Another2-3 hours for the fuel pump and regulator and about 1 hour for the window switch.

Figure $30-40 a hour so about $200.00

All this stuff can be installed with basic hand tools and a half *** monkey,but a lift would make the fuel pump install so much easier.
